Employers intending to hire non-local students who have completed VPAS eligible VTC full-time Higher Diploma programmes should note that individuals applying to stay in Hong Kong for employment under the VPAS are required to have secured an offer of a full-time job relevant to the disciplines of their programmes of study, which is at a level commonly taken up by holders of higher diploma qualifications or above, with the remuneration package at market level and an employment contract period of not less than one year. To process applications under the VPAS, employers are required to submit the following documents to the VTC:
- Employer Confirmation and Consent Form: To confirm that the employment offered to the VPAS participants meets the eligibility criteria and relevant requirements of the VPAS, consent to cooperate with the VTC for on-site inspections, and timely notify the VTC of any changes in employment.
- Report of Duty Notification: To confirm that the VPAS participants have taken up the position in the company.
- Certificate of Service: To confirm the past employment record of the VPAS participants in the company.
